Do SIG P228 mags fit the P229

Yes, 9mm P229 only.

thanks Redleg. That's because the 228 is 9mm, so the mags will fit the 229 but they only hold 9mm rds correct?

I have a 40 but I'm thinking of getting a 9mm conversion barrel from barsto for it (if possible), would the 228 mags work for this?
