On Saturday i bought a new shotgun, a Remington 870. So i took her to the range yesterday which was the first time i have ever shot a shotgun period. WOW! I never realized that slugs or buckshot would rock the ol shoulder that hard. In my mind i thought it would only kick like a 30 06' or something.
My question to you guys is...Can i get lighter loads for slug and buckshot rounds? When i bought my gun i just asked the guy behind the counter to give me the most powerful stuff he had. I only got through like 6 slugs and 10 00' buckshot before my shoulder said no more.
