Do the ammo pouches for 8 round GI 5.56 stripper clips exist?

I'd like to have certain amount of 223 ammo always handy in the pouches on the stripper clips. Is there something standard out there?

They call them bandoleers.... the USGI ones can be had, just need to look at gun shows. Canadian ones are around as well and look similar to the US ones.

I use ex British Army bandoleers for M1 Garand clips. Each fits 5x 8rd .30-06 en bloc clips very well. I've also tried them with 5 rd SKS stripper clips. A heck of a pain in the butt to use during winter competitions though. Just curious, why would you need 8 rd 5.56mm clips? It wouls seem you would need either 5 rd clips for AR rifles or 10 rds for AR pistols?

For some strange reason, the strippers that I have accept 8 of 5.56 rounds. Don't know why. They also accept 8 of 9mm pistol rounds.

US & CAN 223 strippers hold 10 round I think you have strippers for something else possibly Tokorav or something

That's possible. They are made by 'bxn' which is Norinco if I am not mistaken.

the plastic stripperclips are Canadian. The US stripper clips are metal, 2 piece, with black outer metal and a brass/copper? inner metal with tabs at the ends.

Canadian ones break/snap easily and dont last long if used constantly, the US ones will last a long time.
