Do the Russian SKS's have chrome bores?

Does the Russian SKS have a chrome bore? The guy I talked to at the store didn't seem to know.

Most do. The later years (most common) have chrome bores.

not true .... 1949 to part of 1951 did not but may be put in during refurb .
