Yes they do. But it strongly depend on placement. You may not have enough freedom with Mosin carbine to move it close enough to the receiver for it to make best accuracy. I read a post on another forum from a member, whose rifle allowed him to put it pretty much right in front of the receiver and it resulted in the best accuracy out of all other places along the barrel. Experiment away! :)
 
SIR has them for $20 IDK if thats a fair price or not. They are $14USD on ebay so I guess the SIR price is fair.
