im woundering dose any compo ie new or old make a semi auto 17hmr tube fed and if so how much do they usely run new/used ?

My guess is pointy ammo and tube mag don't mix.

Yes and no, they do make them but not for the two things your looking for combined.

They do have semi auto 17 HMR rifles but you will be looking at a pretty penny for one and NO they are not tube fed.

They do make tube fed 17 HMR rifles such as lever action but they are not semi auto

Long story short you can get what your asking for but not together.

I was under the impression that .17HMR semi's were off the market due to problems with brass failures? Has this been corrected yet?

OP, there should be no problems with pointy ammo and rimfire in a tube mag, especially with the lack of recoil, but pretty much all repeaters now use box mags instead of tubes, for whatever reasons.
