I want to join one of these clubs.
1. Vernon Fish & Game Club - Vernon, BC
2. Armstrong & Dist. Fish & Game Association - Armstrong, BC
3. Lumby & Dist. Wildlife Association - Lumby, BC
Are you a member at any of these clubs? What is the length of the range you belong to? Are they open year round? Will the road to the Vernon club be plowed? I can't find the address to the Lumby range, where is it?
I would like to thank all the people that post reply's to this thread.
Thanks again :sniper:

lumby range is up by the lumby golf course. head east on highway six out of town. first road on the left after you pass lorco. if you pass the cemetary along the highway, you passed it.
havent been up there in many years, nor had any active range time in as long, so cant give any more info.
i was surprised the vernon club had a range up noble canyon, and if it was already in use last winter, then i can say the road was not plowed.... its one of my snowmobiling areas out there.

Only one choice bro! Vernon Fish and Game. We just got our certificate for our new range last week and this week will start doing a safety orientation and issuing new keys. It was under construction only last winter, finished major earthwork and built the new buildings this summer

The main rifle range is 100, 200, 300 and 400 yard. The rifle range shooting shack is 56' wide with three bays with three benches (concrete, steel legs bolted down, rubber topped) in each. It is 18' deep and has solid built in racks for 60 rifles and built in tables between the rifle racks. Each bay closes up with an 18' wide garage door.

The rimfire/pistol range is 35 yards and 45 yards. It has an open shed roofed firing line with 6 pistol and 3 rifle positions.

This is a first class facility in a valley with no hazards anywhere near it and valley walls on both sides and downrange end. Its about 5 km up Noble Canyon Road north of Lavington.

Its been four years coming but we're good to go now!
