Do you guys do local pickup?

No they don't. Spend $200+ and get free shipping to you door. (Save gas $$ for more ammo)

Im considering ordering a restricted item, and would prefer to not bother with getting a STATT to take it from courier/post office to my house, would prefer to just go get it in person if possible.

That and Canada post lost my first firearm purchase ever for a little over a month before finally finding/delivering it so I don't think im going to order anymore firearms shipped.

It would be worth it to me to pay more for less hassle.

You need a STATT to pick up a restricted from a shop. You don't need one to pick up a parcel (that you don't know what the contents are)

I'm pretty sure they don't have any type of store-front service.

They are strictly a warehouse type of business.
Not the kind of place they want people walking around in.

As I get small boxes of motorcycle part and other small machined steel pieces, It's entirely possible to not know what's in the package until i get it home......

I wasn't talking about a store front and window shopping, I was talking about placing a order online through the site and paying then just showing up to warehouse to pick up.

I asked the owner this very question in person and the answer is no, no local pickups.

It's true though, delivery saves you gas and time. If you're home to receive the package you don't need an STATT anyhow.

Nope, also any restricted transfer through a business comes with a STATT when the dealer does the transfer. The only thing the buyer has to do is take home.

this is true only if you are home(which I would not be)

When I asked them the same question I was told that there business license does not allow them to have a storefront. Maybe if you ask them really nicely they will ship your order to your truck across the street.

Prepared to argue that in court?

I certainly would.
But that's a discussion for the "Legalese" section of the forum.

What's relevant to this page is that Canada Ammo strictly operates as a warehouse operation, and it's not open to the public.

Very few handguns are less than $200, so you'll likely get free shipping anyways.
