I am looking for a Parker Hale custom 303 with #4 action and am just trying to get an idea of how many are actually around.I am coming across plenty of custom #1's but not any #4's.Can anyone confirm that they have one??
I would assume that PH sported as many 4's as 1's,what gives?
On the other hand I am finding lots of supreme #4's(slightly less fancy stock than the custom)but not any supreme #1's??

You know, now that you mention it, I have seen a number of nice P-H conversions with the monte carlo stock, but the only ones with contrasting forend tips and grip cap were No 1s.

I have Parker Hale No. 4 Conversion, not sure if it's a custom or a supreme, maybe you can tell me. It had the adjustable rear sight when I got it, I replaced that with a B-Square scope mount and a tasco 3-9x40. Nice shooting rifle. I really like it

I have 3 #1's and a surpreme #4 but I haven't seen a #4 either. If you ever come accross 2 make sure you pick the other up for me. I will do the same. Are the parker hales your main interest?

Dave.

I got some nice #4 supreme wood in the mail today :D.I just have to decide what to use it on.I have had a couple of Churchhill sporters with close to the same wood.Actually they would be closer to the custom as they have contrasting fore end tip.

I really like the PH sporters for some reason, the churchill's would be a close second. Although I completely respect what they stand for, I have never gotten the urge to own an original military condition 303. My farorite rifles are still Remington 700's and I will always have one or two in my safe.My Rem 270 is my mulie rifle but I will be packing one of my new 303's for moose this fall.(limited entry gods be willing)

Allan, that is a nice example of a supreme#4.
Thanx, it's the first rifle after getting back into hunting after many years away. Paid $100.00 for the rifle and about another $100.00 for the scope rig. Looking forward to moose and cariboo season this fall

P-H No. 4

As I discovered last week with the help of Xcaribooer, I have a Supreme No. 4 rifle in a Custom stock. The military rear sight has been removed and replaced with a Weaver V1.5-4.5 scope. It makes a great addition to my military Lee-Enfields.

All of the P-H No. 4's I have seen were at big gun shows and were the Supreme model. Here in Alberta they are popular and go fast; this one was in P&D for only a few days
