Chinese "inventions?"

Nobody else (99.99999% sure) did this to SKS except "bubas" around the world.

Anyone provide some detailed pics of the stamped reciever? I've never seen one nor had I any idea one existed until this thread.

Any pics of the 5.56 variant? lol, crazy.

there are evidence that yugoslavia made a small amount of SKS-D , dont know how many but when i was searching to buy a SKS-D trigger group , there it was on gunbroker.com , a yugo made SKS-D trigger group from europe but unfortunately it would not fit a chinese SKS-D . the seller had a few TG.

also it appears bengladesh makes the SKS-D for their military , i heard the chinese help them set up the factory.

I have had my SKS-M for about two years now...unfired by me. It was still packed in cosmo when I bought it.....it's going to be on the EE as soon as I get some pics of it by the way.

They wouldn't sell to Canadian civvies, would they?

It'd be interesting to see if Johnone could confirm if Zastava ever made an SKS-D or if this is just another one of those "rumors" (or a bubba job being passed on as legitimate).

ask marstar.

even if zastava didnt, that wouldnt prove that another yugoslavia company didnt make SKS-D of their own.

When Yugoslavia was first falling apart, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, there were clips on the news of civilians carrying several SKS rifles at a time. The rifles were scavenged from abandoned state arsenals. Many of the rifles were the SKS D versions. The biggest problem they had was availability of magazines. Apparently they were store in another warehouse that was still being guarded.
