I have never hunted w/ an inline muzzleloader or any muzzle loader for that fact and have read (T/C website)that you should not use lube on sabots as they are more accurate being shot down a dry barrel. Now on the Traditions webpage they say you should lube your sabots?? So what do you guys do???
Also do you have to clean your muzzleloader after every shot or clean it when you can no longer get a sabot down the barrel??

Cheers!! :D

I wouldn't lube any sabots.... you would increase the likelyhood of bumping the sabot with the primer before the powder ignites... this is a common problem that effects accuracy dramaticaly.

No need to lube the sabots and yes use a spit patch ( a cleaning patch moistened on the tongue ) between shots for best accuracy.
