do you need to weigh inert additives?

Hey,

I was just wondering if you needed to add the weight of the inert case filler topping off a powder charge to that of your bullet when calculating projectile weight. I think that it should be included since it is also being pushed out of the barrel. What do you guys think?

Yes, that is standard proceedure. You are adding to the weight of the projectile.

The ejecta is the weight of the bullet and filler.

Be very careful if the loads are at max, they will have to be reduced a bit.
