Do you think I over did the gloss on this stock?

There is Canadian company who makes beautiful basses called FBass. My friend works there and has given me all the pointers and tools to get a finish like this. Now that I've started, I'm thinking it wouldn't work well on a gun stock.

Being a professional bassist myself I am well aware of FBass, just can't afford one!
Cool stuff but I agree it's not quite right for a gun stock.

Lol! Not to veer too off topic but I do have one and have gigged the hell out of it! What a sweet bass...It's long lost its luster like the photo above but It's still one of my main basses that sees a lot of studio and gig time.

It's worth getting even a used one if you can swing it. Just sell off some rifles. (Gasp!)

:)
