Do you wear camouflaged hunting gear?

I wear camo only in the bush hunting!
Not at homedepot
Not at bbq's
Not at work
Its basically like wearing your p jammas out in public if you do..same thing lol

I think in general it looks pretty stupid too, particularly at gun shows.

I don't think the general public gives a poop one way or the other, no matter what kind of point some rednecks think they're trying to make wearing camo all the time.

Agreed, playing the wind and learning how to sit still and be quiet will give more results than what you’re wearing but camo definitely won’t hurt your chances while sitting or still hunting. Take advantage of any tool available to you.

During this weeks controlled hunt I have been wearing solid blaze orange hat, jacket and pants and have shot 3 deer so far.

One was on the run.
Second walked within 40 yards in a field as I sat on the edge with nothing at all between us.
Third I tracked and stalked to roughly 30 yards before taking the lucky shot. Lucky because the slug hit a 1" sapling before the deer.

For whitetail deer I fail to see any advantage that camo might give you if a glowing orange pumpkin doesn't spook them...

Tagged another deer yesterday while wearing the blaze orange pumpkin suit. Big doe had no idea I was there for the 400+ yards I was tracking her to make the 35 yard shot.

Surprised it all came together with how loud the snow was, but the wind helped muffle the noise and scent.

No camo. No scent or cover scent. No calls. Just a blaze orange suit, a gun and patience.

I laugh every time I see this. My friend has the high end stuff. I wear the cheap surplus.
