In Europe they call Whitetails bulls and cows.

I dont know why its doe and buck, probably a size thing. In south africa we picked one species as the "cut-off" the female Nyala is called a ewe and the male a bull, anything bigger = bull and cow, anything smaller = ewe and ram

i don't know. but there is terminology for animals. ie: with both goats and rabbits, the males are bucks and the females does. bears and pigs are boars and sows.

kinda like drake and hen for ducks, dog and #####, etc etc.

gaggle of geese, mob of elk, pod of whales, murder of ravens. the list goes on.

there is a name for all this, vieniology or somethink like that.
