Doe with huge growth

I was sitting in my stand tonight when 5 does came into the field. I had to do a double take when I saw the last one walk in to the field, it had two basket ball size growths on its chest front leg area. I watched them for about a hour before something spooked them and they ran off. The deer with the growth couldn't even keep up with the others and could bearly manage more than a fast walk.
Has anyone ever seen something like this before? Is it something I should report to DNR?

Could be tumors or abscess...maybe warts definitely one of the three, just google and you'll find out easily enough. i've seen it once and it grossed me out...needless to say i avoided deer meat for a while lol.

I've never seen anything like it, but, other animals besides humans get cancer. It may well be just that.

Nature will take its course. Pretty sure that doe will not make it through the winter .

I saw that in a Buck one time, it was a huge fluid like absess in the front of his chest. This was in an area known to have Bovine Tuberculosis.

Could be an arrow, or bullet wound gone bad. On the chest is suspicious, could be an abscess (or if both sides, I'd suspect an arrow).

What are the signs of fibromatosis in deer?

Large, warty growths, or fibromas appear as firm, round, nodular, hairless, pigmented skin abnormalities adhered to or incorporated within the skin of deer.# The masses occur most frequently around the eyes, mouth, face, neck, and forelimbs, and may appear as a single mass or numerous growths.# The tumors are typically small (less than 5 inches across), dark brown or black in color, and their surface may be abraded or bleeding and in some case infected. Most often, fibromas occur in deer less than 2 years of age, with a higher incidence of disease in bucks.####

Have they been eating Monsanto grain as well? LOL
I have seen trail cam pics of this as well and it is gross. Seems to be a bit more common on the south shore of NS where the deer population is large.

You could, but chances are its nothing dangerous. If it can't manage something faster than a walk, that will probably be the last time you'll see that deer. Survival of the fittest at work.
