I have an odd question for the pro's and i'm not quite sure what section to ask it in...
I'd like to pick up a set of single piece low talley rings to mount a 3x9x40 onto a tikka 30/06 but I think they will only fit if the barrel has a "standard contour", heres a quote from the site:
"LowRing Ht for scopes up to 44 mm objective with standard barrel contour. Medium Ring Ht for scopes up to 50 mm objective with standard barrel contour. High Ring Ht for scopes with a 56 mm objective with standard barrel contour. Ex-High Ring Ht for large objective scopes with heavy contour barrels and single shot rifles"
Should I go ahead and order them or will the barrel get in the way?
