Does anybody make cheap bulk 30-06 ammo??

If not, why not?

I'm trying to decide whether or not to sell my Garand... I'd probably shoot it more if ammo costs were reasonable.

Seems to me that if Norinco [or S&B] or whoever can produce 7.62 NATO ammo for cheap, they could probably do the same for 30-06, and make a lot of Garand shooters very happy...

I reload for my garand, have it to about 47 cents per shot using

imr4895-168gr sp bullets-ccr primers. This is as cheap as I can get it as long

as powder stays around $28 a lb, primers $4/100 and bullets for $27-29/100

Walmart has factory ammo for $19 a shot for the cheap 150 gr sp for federal.

If you are only going to shoot 40-50 rounds every couple of months you'd still

be better off reloading, imo.
