Does anyone else think they should have a higher end precision rifle category in EE?

Not a terrible idea...spose its up to the mods and admins to decide if its too complicated or onerous to manage

Like a lot of folks...my interests and budget ranges widely so can be shopping/selling on the budget end or occasionally at the other end of the spectrum so I prefer to surf thru one category myself. Bit lazy sure as well I will admit as Im sure many others that surfing the sections is often educational or purely fun.

Bad enough someone got pissy about the optics forum, no need to break the precision ee with its 4 posts a day down into two posts a day.

No. I don't want yet another thread to scroll through.

I would like to see a Redneck thread for all those people who openly state that they will break the law, want to express ###ist, racist views etc.

How many ee sections are needed? Where does it stop? Ok I'm catching on - the rimfire category is too broad, we need one for 22 and one for 17. Or maybe three for 22 and two for 17 so there's no confusion. I guess another area would be needed for 22mag but that will keep them all out of the 22lr spot.

No different then this forum sub section. The continous talk of my stock which ever rifle..shots 1/2moa groups alllllllllll dayyyyyy long. Sorry but if there is gonna be a high end ee there should be a high end precision/target area also.

Check it regular, and no worries. There are too many sub forums already imo.

There are already four separate EE sections for rifles. All the handguns are crammed into one. If the mods are going to subdivide a thread I'd recommend they sub divide handguns before they make a precision rifle and precisioner rifle section.

I think what the Op is asking for can be better achieved by updating the READ ME sticky for precision rifles to advise people that their bone stock Savage 10 Tr and their custom ruger 10/22 are not precision rifles.

There wasn't enough to have a separate PCC section, I doubt there enough for a High end precision. I mean my fathers precision rifle cost 2700$. but It's only a Mauser, so to some, it not high end. I like to see a rimfire section for handguns.

Without reading through four pages...No not needed. The details should be in the post anyway. If it's beneath you, don't look at it.
