Does anyone have a Tikka T3X in a chassis? (AI mag issues)

So I recently purchased a new T3X CTR and upon putting it into my chassis, I discovered that my AI mags would not fully insert. I took the action back out of the chassis and had someone send me a picture of the bottom of their regular t3 lite action, and sure enough, it looks like Tikka left some metal on the bottom of the new T3X's action that is curved inwards which doesn't allow for the feed lips to get anywhere near the inside of the receiver. This would make sense from Tikka's perspective, as I'm sure they'd rather people buy their mags than the AI mags ...

So my question is, has anyone else ran into this? It's pretty lame if I must say so myself! Especially considering I sold the 10 round hens teeth mag that came with it prior to receiving my AI mags!

It looks like the light in the first photo is playing tricks on the eyes, to me it looks like the two are identical. What it the CTR chambered in?
 
both rifles are 308. i find it easier to see the difference if you start from the front of the receiver and work your way back. You need to look at the milled lines to see it.
 
looks like the mag was the issue. the feed lips are too wide on the ai mags. got an MDT mag and everything is flawless. ctr owners worry not!
