Hey all just was looking at a Breda sxs 12ga , Im pretty limited in the shotgun world as far as knowledge goes Im more of a rifle guy , does any one know anything about this Italian manufacturer quality and price point ?? Any info would be helpful
 
I have one. Very light high combed gun. Mine has 30" rust blued barrels and ivory bead. Hand engraved. Decent wood. Greener cross bolt. Dolls head lock up with side clips. Very strong action. I love mine. Not a lot of info on them but I've read they are comparable to the older Beretta sxs guns. Apparently some parts are interchangeable not sure it that's true or not. Over all decent quality guns and I've seen them sell for between $400 and $1000
 
Thanks for the feed back. Sounds like you have a really nice 1. The 1 I'm looking at looks very nice too and is price in between what you've said .

You have to be careful. There is a Breda steel works in Italy that supplies the steel for the barrels to various companies . If it says something like Accio Breda Chromata or special (not sure of spelling) on the barrels, that just means the type of steel it is that was supplied by the Breda steel works. If you are looking at the gun I think you might be looking at, I don't think it is made by Breda.
