If anybody has this Lee bullet mold, TL356-124-TC can you tell me how you like it? I ordered one from Lanz over at Silverdale yesterday. A few of the questions I have are:
1. Does it produce consistent weight bullets at the advertised weight of 124 grains?
2. How is the size right out of the die? Is it more or less right at .356. Their advertising says that generally you don't have to resize the bullet from this mold, is this true?
3. What lube do you use? If you use the Lee Aloz, do you find much leading in the barrel after you have shot 500 or so rounds?
4. If you have the 6 cavity mold, do you find it hard to slice the sprue off the top after casting 6 bullets?
It's going to take 12 weeks to get my mold in, but I have a feeling it may be longer than that. I have been thinking about building an automated resizer/luber for casting regular lube bullets as well. We'll have to see how it all works out in a few months I suppose.
Thanks,
cd.
