Does anyone in Canada or even the US do nickel finishes?

I have a antique S&W where most of the nickel finsih is worn away.
I don't want to do anything that would make it a "Bubba" but would like to restore it to it's original condition. Is it possible to get it renickled and if so would it negatively affect the value of the piece?

refinishing anything antique detracts from the value as an antique...

why not polish the beegeezus outta it..?
