I'm looking for this book as a Christmas gift for someone. It seems like the people that retail it in the states won't ship to Canada.

I'd try amazon. Have you asked any retailer in the states if they would in fact ship it to Canada?

It's a book, it's not like a piece of a gun, so it should be pretty easy to ship to Canada as long as you pay the postage.
