Does anyone know how to use the Ontario crown land atlas?

I hope somebody chimes in soon. I've tried using this thing a bunch of times and it always resets on me. Would be nice if it just had two colours. A 'you can shoot here' section in green and a 'no shooty' area marked in red.

Just zoom into the area you want to see (click and drag the mouse to make a box around the area and it zooms into it), at the very top right there is a legend tab that describes which colors mean what in terms of land use. Basically anything that is beige is crown land.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Don't use your browser system, just the application's zoom and move-- stay away from the far left icon. it takes you back to the general map of Ontario.
Learn to use the legend. When you get the hang of it, it will give you gps locations and distances. You just have to take the time to zoom in feature and recenter the map frquently with the move feature...
