Hello gents, has anyone seen in their sporting goods travels seen a dealer that has in stock a H&K SL-8? If you've seen one and wouldn't mind firing me over a PM it'd be appreciated. At this point I'm pricing it out....but ask my old lady that ain't a far cry from me firing the proverbial trigger and slappin down some plastic, lol. Just wondering what they cost new, what the general consensus is about them, accuracy, problems, etc. Keep in mind I already have a AR, 858, RFB, and have had others, so I've tried and like other black rifle platforms but I like the SL-8, it's ###y but I know little about them besides the Germans use em. I know there is a pretty loyal following behind them and I've seen some pretty killer conversions done on ye old interwebs & youtube. I'm looking to keep mine more less stock unless I see something that tickles me fancy. Suggestions, reviews, bantering are all welcome in this thread. But as I said if you see one think of me....and this thread, (queue music*).
& yes I've cruised a few dealer sights and didn't find one. Also heard a vicious rumor that production was cancelled please say it isn't so!
