Does anyone know the TPI of an XCR-L 5.56 mm barrel?

Decided to buy a Vortex flash hider for my XCR-L. So I was sent a Vortex flash hider (1001-V-G6A3 with a 1/2" -28 thread) that was supposed to work but doesn't seem to thread well. Does anyone know the TPI of an XCR-L 5.56 mm barrel?

Looking for some answers...
 
Clean the threads, they will get gummed up with carbon, etc.

Don't force it but it could be stiff. On my Tavor barrel, flash suppressors don't just spin on freely. There's a bit of resistance. It's tight but you don't need a wrench to thread it on.
