Does anyone know where a guy could get a Bersa Thunder 9 or Thunder 40?

Just wondering if anyone knows where a guy could get a Bersa pistol? Is there a distributor in Canada? Is Questar the way to go?


Also what about mag restrictions - I think that the Bersa 9mm is has acap of 17, and the .40 has a cap of 13?

I am afraid that you will not be able to get "stock" Bersa 9mms in Canada as it appears that the longest barrel length is 3.6" which falls under the Prohibited length. Also, under Canadian law, Civilian magazines for pistols are limited to ten rounds. So if you manage to locate a Bersa 9mm with a barrel length longer than 4.1" it will still be limited to a ten round magazine.

In regards tot he Bersa .40S&W you may be in luck as it appears to me that the barrel length is 4.3" which makes it a restricted firearm and it can be purchased in Canada if you have a Restricted PAL. It does, however still have the ten round magazine capacity limit.
