Does anyone know where to find a 338 RUM?

I have been looking for a 338 RUM for well over a month now and everyone seems to either not stock one or the one or two that they brought in has sold. It seems like right now no one has restocked there shops .So I was just curious if anyone knows of a place that has one on the shelf? I believe the only model that it comes in is an Remington M700 in a XCR or an XCR II .
Any info will help

or hand load. cost about 20 cents more per round than a .338 win and has about 500 yards more effective range. More energy at any range than a .375 H&H. I think that he should countinue his quest for the RUM.

A buddy of mine just got a really good deal on a M700 XCR in 338 RUM from Perry's Gun shop in Sault Ste Marie Ont. I don't know if they have any more or not.

If you are serious the rifle (mentioned above) is a good deal and will likely shoot better than you can.

I have a few a few heavy hitter 338's...They are the ultimate in the realm of the long range hunter.

The 338Ultra reloads just like the others.
A 225Nosler Accubond over 96 grains of RL-25 is good for for 3180fps.
Prepare for one ragged hole.

I had to go Weatherby 338/378 as I was unable to find a Remington 338 Ultra anywhere. You might want to E-mail Remington and see if they still produce them. I kinda get the feeling that the 338 ultra is out of production. I could be wrong.
 
They better not! they dropped the Sendero in .338 ubber which sucks but dropping the cartridge all together would be a serious mistake. If they got serious about a make'n a real .338 lapua rifle and componants then fine but untill then keep the big bangers around for those of us the like them!

Note: I'm shop'n for one right now....... well soon.... still very undecided.:cool:
 
I had my BILs Rem 700 in 338RUM on here F/S a couple of years ago & never even got a nibble.I think he took it out west & left it at his sons place.DAN>>>
