Gentlemen: Does anyone know if the Mossberg model 500 in 20 bore is built on a smaller frame than the 12 gauge model? Any help would be appreciated...

i read about it NRA's mag american hunter in the summer and if memory serves me i certain that it is built on a smaller frame. now if i could just find that copy of american hunter i'd let you know for sure.

I have a 12gauge and a 20 gauge Model 500, the 20 gauge frame is the same length but is thinner. If you need measurments I can make some, but they are 2 different frames.
