I'm not the biggest magnification fan. I seem to shoot pretty decent at longer ranges with low power. Does anyone make a 4 or 6 power scope with fine crosshairs and a 40mm or bigger objective? It would be used on a .17 Remington for yotes, crows and jacks out to 300 yards..
I'd love a Leupold 6x42 target hunter but its a little rich for me.
Thanks, Rob.

I have an older Bushnell Banner in a fixed 6 power I could sell to you, it is in very good condition for its age, I may also have a 4 power Older Weaver as well.FS

Nikon used to have a 6x42 as well. Not sure if they're made any more, but you might find a used one. Also, there are older Leupold 6x42 models, like the m8.

I have a weaver marksman 4x with the fine crosshair on my .222 and works great, try e-bay there are some on there rigth now k4 and k6 in very good shape

I'm in the same boat as you, have been looking for a fixed 4x or 6x power scope but with a ballistic compensating reticle and have only found IOR to be making what I'm looking for and again they are expensive.

I have a Tasco World Class Plus that fits your criteria - 6 X 40. It seems like a decent scope - I use it for yote hunting. Not sure if they're made any more...
