Does anyone make a short barrel kit for the 590A1?

Anyone know if you can get a legal short barrel kit for the 590A1? I take it with me when im out in the bush but its pretty long and doesnt fit in the truck great. Im looking at the 8.5" grizzly but before i go that route i was curious if i could just buy a shorter barrel and mag tube.
 
No kits availlable, the 12.5 Grizzly is only 4 inches longer and gives you an extra shell in the tube and more options for a more comfortable foreend.
 
The 8.5 is kind of a neat gun but the 12.5 is more practical for sure.
More pluses for the 12.5 would be the ability to run longer barrels if desired and the fact that the weight difference between the two models is also negligible.
 
I think for some weird reason the 12.5 is also $100 less expensive then the 8.5 isnt it? Sounds like the 12.5 is the better way to go...now i just need to to figure out how to mount it in the truck :)
 
I believe that the price difference is due to the custom work for the magazine tube on the 8.5" model. I think you can use a regular barrel on the 12.5" model because the magazine tube is the same length as a regular 870.
