Does anyone of you load Mosin with 6 rounds?

Yes, by pushing 5 down with a finger, pushing the bolt an inch forward and putting 6th round in the chamber. Not that I am lazy, but that's 20% more shooting time :)

I have never done it, but I like loading it with a stripper clip, besides I usually shoot my Mosins at Service Rifle where the round count breaks down to 5 much easier than 6.

But I can see how the extra shooting time before reloads would be worth it ;)

None of mine will allow this. The mag "holds" 5 when the bolt is open, but (unlike all my mausers) the mag doesn't allow all five to be pushed down so that the bolt can be closed on an empty chamber.

No push room. When I push, the little "ears" in the mag hold the other four rounds down, keeping the rim on the "top round" in the mag (#2, really) from interfering with the chambering of the first round.

I hope my description makes some sense......

Weird! I thought all Mosins' mag wells were identical.

Same here, however there will be differences with the tension of the mag follower assembly. I have no doubt there may be some more springy ones which may be out of spec somewhat, either because of different country manufacture, age or wear, or someone has bubba'd with it for whatever reason.

Perfect sense old chap. I must ask though (and please forgive any offense) but are you making sure the rounds sit far enough back in the mag? I know if you try to push them in while they sit too far forward the rim will catch. If you push them in keeping the rim of the cartridge in line with where the stripper clip guide is, it will go?

I just confirmed it. The spine that runs on the bottom of the bolt (below the bolt face) catches on the top round rim.

That goes for my M44, M91/30, and M1891......
