does anyone use IWB for IPSC?

I don't wanna buy too many holster,but I do wanna go for IPSC and IDPA,I wonder if it is practical to get one IWB holster for both of them. Basically the holster I am talking about are legal for IDPA and IPSC,but I need to know if that looks so weird if carrying gun in IWB in IPSC.

I've used an IWB for IPSC (and IDPA), but you might find something like the Kydex C-TAC is better for that purpose, the leather ones tend to concentrate a bit more on comfort and concealment and slow the draw just a touch.

Of course with my draw it hardly matters, the holster is definitely not the factor that slows me the most

P226 it depends on why you are shooting IDPA (or IPSC). Some people shoot IDPA to practice for real world scenarios such as CCW in the US. If that is your angle then go with a nice comfortable leather IWB holster.

If you want to just have fun and compete then a kydex holster might be a better choice. In the case of IPSC there are many types of competition holsters that are built strictly for speed but are not at all practical for CCW.

You must decide on your use.
