Just wondering if anyone uses original 19th century cap and ball percussion revolvers or if everyone uses the repros?

I have a few originals I shoot now and then. I have an original Remington 1858 .44 and a Bacon .31. I sold an original Rogers & Spencer .44 awhile ago, I shouldn't have done that.
I enjoy getting them out and shot them this past week! They still work great 150 years later.

I have an original Savage Repeating Arms revolver that I have shot but not recently because it is such an awkward gun. If I had a Colt or Remington, I would certainly shoot it.

cheers mooncoon

I have a Colt 1851 Navy that I enjoy taking out now and again. It was made in 1853, and doesn't shoot too bad for 153 years old.KD
