First shot she was really squessy, but after that, she loved the .50 cal TC Triumph. Never missed the steel plate, every shot at 50 m. My next step is to introduce her to a .270 Tikka. If that is too snappy, I have a .243 T3.
Mine calls it the same thing as she calls me. A 'TOOL'. LOL
Actually she usually doesn't even know what the gun make and model are. She knows which one she wants to shoot and picks out the ammo. She gets our 10yr old to confirm the ammo is right as he loads with me. This is all if I am not home. She has her gun, she calls 'My gun' and the 'grey one'(used to be my gun) and the 'chicken gun'. The rest are steel and wood lumps.
I just asked my wife, what do you call your pistol or your rifle? Do either have a nickname? I got a blank five second look before I finally got a "Nooooooo...."
My wife named her first shotgun "Missy" and hasn't named a singe gun of any type after that. The closest I get from her now is "the one I kill deer with" or "my rabbit gun".....
My wife called her 44 Ruger carbine "My Gun" One day a buddy was teasing her and said "what does a deer do when you shoot at it with that thing" Her reply was " fall over"
