Does the handgun transfer ban apply to 12.X ?

It applies to the 12.6 prohibited handguns. It does not apply to the rifles in the other 12.x categories. I have not had a chance to check if it does or does not apply to FA handguns in the 12.2 and 12.3 categories. (Happy to check if someone has a Stechkin they want to sell :p)

Any transfer is banned.

No. Only transfers of _handguns_ to _non-exempt_ _individuals_ are frozen.

Rifles - ok
Exempt - ok
Business - ok

Someone told me it dosent apply to the 12.x, I was wondering if this was true?

12.6 is handguns, so of course it does, 12.2,3, 5 are not handguns, they are long guns, so do it does not. there is no 12x? in the legal/ firearms section.
Who is someone?

12.2 and 12.3 handguns do exist. They are not just “long guns”. 12.6 is just short barrel, 25, 32.

There are folks right now who have 12.3 handgun transfers who are waiting on approval. That issue, I believe, has not been solved.

12.7?

Prohibs that are passed down through the estate of the owner to his/her children who possess RPAL. Are these guns being transferred, or are the horse cops sweeping up behind closed doors?

I wonder, if down the road, the reply of some estates is going to be "what handguns"?

NAA.

They certainly aren't leaving us with many options are they? We've bent as far as I believe we can...there comes a time when lines are drawn in the sand. I think we're there.

I have Beistegui and a m712 Schnellfeuer - they were 12.2. A few other handguns could be in 12.2 or 12.3. Don't know if they would be transferrable under the freeze, but eager to test if I ever find any more for sale.
