Does the TRS-25 stand up in the field?

I was wondering if the TRS-25 would stand up to field use on a shotgun with a rifled barrel firing slugs. Anyone have field reports? Will the recoil shake the guts loose?

Took a rifle course in may and at least three of us ended up with water on the inside of our red dots. Sucks,never ever did hear back from bushnell. Mine was on a CZ 858 sorry not a shotgun. Saskcop was gonna do a submersion test but haven't heard anything lately.

I was going to do a submersion test, but I have kinda been chickening out on that one. I think that it should be ok, but I am going to hold out a bit. Been testing a SPARC lately ...

SPARC works good for me. It was on my back up rifle for the course but didn't rain that day.
