Hello guys.
I bought my self a new sig p226 black water 9mm three weeks ago and put about 300 rounds through it. I found that it shoots constantly high and right about 7inch at 15 meters.First i thought it was my problem since i am totaly a newbie. So i asked a few of other experienced shooters at the range to try it out. They have the exact same problem when shooting my gun.

I disassembled my gun and found there is something wrong with the barrel( i am sorry i can't describe it). Here are some pics i took last night.

The rifling has been "dinged" and you should get the muzzle re crowned before you give up on the barrel ...

Ok,guys thanks for the reply and help. But should i send the barrel back to the dealer for a exchange since the gun is still brand new and has warranty on it?

hummm...Did you left-click on the link instead of copying the link and open it in another window? The links work for me.

Well, it shouldn't matter but I tried it that way and still got a:
phvrf.yahoo.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again.

I would try using Photobucket instead of whatever that is. Try it from another computer. Not the computer you are uploading from.

You should put each link on a separate line, though they do work now for me. :)

Hmmm... don't know how to describe that... looks like a bump that shouldn't be there. Is the bump on the top right when the gun is facing away from you?

I would take it back to the dealer. Hopefully they can just swap a new barrel in for you and send the bad one back to the manufacture. They shouldn't give you any problems as it looks obvious that it was there from new.

Sorry bout' your luck....take it back to the dealer. I unknowningly purchased a new Savage Model 10FPLE with a damaged crown. Took it back after spraying bullets downrange. Had it recrowned and now she shoots great!

And stop using that nasty WinClean BEB ammo. Brass fouling is horrible to remove :( .
