From the looks of it, the tie wrap was put through the hole where the mag catch would/should be.

I have an article on the HAC-7 in the Firepower magazine, dated July 1984.

FWIW - HAC = Holloway Arms Company. They were in Ft Worth, Texas.

They sold for $650 for the SA or $735 for Full Auto.
