Does Wolverine accept trade ins?

They do, but try selling it privately first, they don't like to pay very much. They offered me 300 for a glock 17 gen 2 that I sold in the ee for 550.

Private sales will generally work better in your favour. The gun stores have a lot of overhead to deal with and they have to take care of that.

Ask them: I certainly would not discourage business from a sponsor.

However, any store will offer you a price that shows the store is willing to take on the risk, time and effort to sell it (read: lower price, less than used retail)... but if you take on the risk, time and effort to sell it you will receive a different price (read: higher price, at a used retail price).

Simple economics. :yingyang:

As mentioned above....try to sell privately first (on EE here for example). Most dealers will only give or offer you 50% - 60% of the value. That way they can make a profit. They are in business to make money and stay in business....

Wolverine does do trade ins. Most likely they would want to see the gun before an offer/trade is made (email them pictures). You never know.... Both sides may walk away happy.

I've never dealt with Wolverine involving a trade-in but any dealers I have tried to do a trade in with I have always ended up being insulted. I will echo what others have said here, try selling it privately first.

Well I guess I might have to sell it on the EE when i have more time, it has trijicon sights on it, so it's worth more. Less than 80 rounds through it. :(

Just thought it would be easier to deal with them.

Thanks guys.

I didn't see on your site if you accept trade ins, I wanted to trade in a Glock 21 Gen3 I bought from you, for a Glock 22 Gen4.

Yes we do take trade ins. It is true we do not pay high, we have to resell as a used item which must be cheaper than new. Often lightly used guns can be sold privatly as "like new" we can't do that, used is used, we also stand behind what we sell and that has often caught us out on used guns. Please contact Sales@wolverinesupplies.com for details on trade ins.
