Had one of those a while back. Decent rifle. But I believe mine had RUKO stamped on it somewhere.....Well it was a while back I may be wrong.

I heard that before about some of these guns.
Same action, different stock,
one was declared prohib because
they said it was "variant",
based on the look of that stock only.
The other, with the same action and a
not so evil looking stock is non-restricted.
And that's thanks to the "professionalism"
of the Central Forensic Lab Ottawa.
You are not going to believe this,
but they call themselves
"scientist firearm examiner".

Here's my Squires contribution guys. I have had 2 M20P's over the years and they shoot REALLY good. I since sold them both but several years ago I picked up this M22 carbine (17" barrel)at a gun show in pieces, with 3 magazines as well for $30.00. I know! What a deal! It was brand new and the fellow had taken it apart for a cleaning and couldn't figure out how to get the bolt back in properly.

As all us M20 shooters know, there is that little trick to reinstalling the bolt. I actually bought it just for parts, as he said it was broken and brought it home. I knew I couldn't go wrong just for the spare mags. Couldn't see anything wrong with it so I reassembled it and rattled off 15 rounds. Now that was a wicked deal on a gun. My boys and I have shot many thousands of rounds out of this little handy short barreled gun. The only malfunctions are when it gets really grimy. Very good .22's for the money.

How do you keep the front sight from allways coming loose, Or is it only mine that had that problem?

I have never had a problem with 2 of the 3 Squires I had, with the sight coming loose but I did on this M22. I'd suggest a touch of red loc-tite on the screw threads. That's what I used and it hasn't come loose in the last 5 years now. That'll cure your sight coming loose.
