I set up an M12 holster (Specter Gear M12 Tactical thigh adapter) for my wife's Springfield 1911 9mm shooting... Service Pistol game as well as an ORA Pistol clinic. Well she did not like the 2 wide tactical straps around the thigh so she took one look at my SERPA that was attached the Specialty Defense Systems Tactical Extender that the SERPA holster was mounted on and said, "Let me try that SERPA holster." 
"D'Oh!", I replied....
Well that was the end of my tenure with the SERPA mechanism holster. She said,"Can I use this from now on?"
What's a Super Moderator to do ?
DAMN ! She even out shot me during the rundown of the pistol match. That's how rattled I was without my SERPA for my Browning HP 9mm (which shoots very well without my help).
In the Service Pistol game, we don't have to draw out of the holster. It merely holds the pistol after you've been cleared by the RSO. I guess I gotta live with the M12 holster that I lined up for her, in the interest of peace.
