Doing a C7A2 Build but need part sources

I ordered a Norgon Ambi Catch from Brownells, delivery took a couple of weeks but no issues there. Installation took just a few minutes and no tools needed. Just FYI.

I know most people don't care, but I've been reading a few posts here and keep hearing 'surplus'. Diemaco/Colt Canada Triads, tac-latches, BUIS and the like have never been surplus. They are all A Class returns only...which means, if you have one you are in illegal possession of DND equipment. Just a heads up...I wouldn't post pics and #### on the internet. Like I said, most people don't give a s**t but thought some might.

Its still not always the case. Many CF things leak out onto the civilian market from time to time from other sources. CF members and units interacting with other militaries outside of Canada, or other CDN gov't orgs, is one such example... as sometimes these entities come into/use CF kit, and it gets released to the public from there. One of many scenarios of how class A stuff makes it out (legally).

Like the hundreds of Tri-ads that Jims Junk got from government surplus. But thanks to the internet police he brought them back.... Read the comment on his website, its priceless....

*Sigh* not this again, Police use them too, look back in the thread for the info/pics. DND does not have an exclusive use on the Triad.

Sigh. Police do use them too. And the ones used by police are public property. If a police service decides to dispose of publicly owned property, there is a process.

Police do sell the triads off . I had two of them to dispose of from a small police service. They wanted the two hundred bucks instead of the rails sitting in a cupboard because they had gone to quad rails and red dots. I found a good home for them for another police officer with military service wanting a C7 build. The service put the two hundred back into their equipment budget.

Do you have the documentation to support the sale of these goods by the police service?

If you go to a store to buy a used TV.
You buy the used TV.
You give the store money.
The store charges you tax.
The store gives you a receipt.
You take your TV with you.
You post on the internet hey look at this great TV i just bought.
Later its found out that the TV is stolen, you had no idea.
The store made money from selling stolen goods.
The gvts made money from tax collected from stolen goods.
You have a stolen TV.
Who is to blame here? You for having stolen property? The store from buy and selling stolen property? the gvts from collecting tax on a sale of stolen property? The guy who stole the TV? All of the above? Or just the poor sap who got played?
