Any chance of these showing up here?
Here's some info from M4Carbine.net

So what's the story here? Are they assembling 416 uppers in the USA from HK parts, and adding a domestic SS nitride treated barrel?

Someone help me out here. I need to understand because this is confusing as hell.

They are apparently here in UT. I might have to pop into their shop and see what the deal is first hand.

You can get the HK MR223

I think your missing the point. Its a HK416 clone. Hence It can be used with all other milspec AR15 lowers unlike the MR223. Retail price of $1200 US, almost 4 times cheaper than what people are bidding on the Real deal ones, and if these aren't just cheap knock offs Im sure they'll be popular soon.

AFAIK the US-made HK MR556 will be compatible with standard AR lowers when it hits the market. The offset pins were a requirement of the German gov't for the German-made MR223.

There is lots of good piston conversion kits out now. I`ve been using a PWS carbine conversion and its been perfect.

Negative...Pins will be relocated. At least that's the word on the street over at HKpro.

***EDIT*** I was beat to the punch!!

I want that 100 rnd dual drum magazine!!!! Wouldn't THAT get you some LEO attention very, very quickly (even if it WAS pinned to 5 rnds and you only had it for looks :D)

Looks like it would be a great rifle to have. I wonder when/if we'd get the semi auto version and what it would cost.

Forgot to mention this in my earlier post.

If no, then are the only compatible mags from HK or are there after market ones available?
