Hey all... just purchased a Dominion Arms DA556 (still waiting for transfer and shipment) from canadaammo.com:

This is my first owned AR... I went with this because of the price and lack of cash at the moment. I was wondering does anyone know a piston conversion kit that would be compatible with this? Also thinking about getting a longer quad rail and removing iron sights from barrel...

Any tips much appreciated!

I don't see any advantages to getting a piston upper for an AR15 unless you are using your firearm suppressed which is most likely not the case. It does not make the firearm cleaner -- just where you have to clean. It does not make the firearm cooler -- just which part of the firearm heats up. For semi automatic fire with a 5-30 round magazine (in the case of LEO); heat is not an issue for an AR15 (if cooking off is a consideration).

Your best bet would be to pick a different design than this one's 56 years of proven history.
