Hey guys,
Do any of you know of the availability of a drum magazine for a dominion arms grizzly mag 12ga.
Anybody have one of these guns, how do they stack up. Quality???

No drum mag that I know of, but I dream of a day when someone markets one.

They are great guns, so a search in the shotgun forum for lots of range reports

I don't know how variable the DA Grizzlys are in quality from gun to gun but I swear that mine is smoother than my Remington Model 870 Marine Magnum.

As for accuracy......I put 5 x WW 1 oz. rifled slugs into a 2" circle at 30 yards from a standing position.

Mine has the Williams style aperture sights...."ghost rings" (somebody correct me if I'm wrong) or something like that is the correct DA nomenclature for this particular sight. I have a similar sighting apparatus on my Remington Model 700 in .416 Remington Magnum which is actually made by Williams.

Only premature death will prevent me from taking my Grizzly deer hunting this fall.

Accuracy

I can swear by their accuracy. I have a red dot on mine, with a pistol grip. At 40 yards, with a standing shot with no support, I can consistently hit 3 inch clays set up at the berms. This is ready for my bear and deer hunting.

If someone designs one, we'll make it. Frankly drums are a technical dead-end because of poor size:capacity ratio.

Also, why is this in Discussions & Alerts?

Did you use the pistol grip supplied in the box with the new Grizzly or do you have a custom stock that has a standard butt as well as a pistol grip?

The reason I ask is that I was wondering about the legal status of the Grizzly with the factory supplied pistol grip installed........non-restricted? ........or restricted?

I use the butt stock equipped with pistol grip. I realize the pistol grip alone makes this restircted. Besides, there is no accuracy for long range with out the butt stock.

rail

Where did you buy the rail, and what kind is it, how did you mount it for your red dot sight

It was a regular b-square mount for rem 870. There are several varieties out there, and most of them do not come with the correct threading for the cross bolt.

Does anyone know if the legal status of the pistol-gripped shorties has been determined? Was it Dlask that was taking it to court?

The CFO says the pistol grip only Grizzley is restricted because the installation of the pistol grip turns it into a handgun.

Yet Wolverine can't get the pistol grip only TP-9 handgun approved as a pistol, mainly because the firearms control bureaucrats don't want us to get a 10 round magazines for that gun.

Someone needs to bring this to court because it is absolutely ridiculous how our bureaucrats sit on both sides of the fence to screw over gun owners.
