Dominion Arms - Grizzly - Music Video

It took 13 days for Canada Post's website to say anything, but it's finally out for delivery today. Should find a nice present when I get home.

Good video... hmm thats one thing though im disputing.. the pattern gets really wide around 20-22 yards i like my shotguns to have a tighter choke but it still would be fun to have and mess around with :p

Needs better music ! that is not shooting music ! :D :p

I know what you mean when you say you would like to have a tighter choke.
I'm use to a Vang modified barrel on my 18" that holds tighter patterns at 38 yards than the Grizzly does at 22 yards. But then the Grizzly shotgun costs as much as the full Vang modifications so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Going to have to measure the choke to determine what it is. As long as I'm not firing slugs I should be able to tighten things up.

Also, I was firing 1995 vintage Federal Reduced 00 loads. I imagine that in the intervening years the technology has improved with the new Remington 8 pellet Reduced loads and its competitor's equivalent offerings. Repeating the tests using this newer ammunition is just the excuse I need to head out to the range again.

Funny how you can get a feel for a shotgun's sweet spot with just a few rounds. Noticed the patterns starting to open up at the 20 yard mark. Was really surprised how quickly patterns deteriorated with just an additional two yards.

Its also amazing how much difference to handling occurs when loping off a barrel from 18" to 12.5". I would have never thought I'd notice as much difference as I do. I can't explain it all away with the "New Toy" syndrome.

Okay I'll bite - what exactly would you classify as "shooting music" :)

Actually, I thought it went well with the video..

I thought the same thing when I heard "they call me crazy" in the song.

Its the reaction I get from people when you pull it out from the guncase.

Even hard core shooting friends of mine react with "isn't that illegal?"

I counter the "attitude" by allowing them to fire a couple of rounds.

The smile is usually good for a couple of laughs.
