Hello, concerning this product :

Is the receiver really stamped DA or is it stamped Norinco?
As a side note, is there a way of paying extra to get a handpicked one?
 
No need, i think they dont even open the box, i could be wrong, not to worry, they are very nice, they are marked Dominion arms, if i compare to my old norinco's, they made a lot of progress... JP.
 
I believe they also say "Made in China" so don't think about getting it into the US at any point.
 
I bought both the Socom and full length in the weekend. They have the exact markings that D-Rock69 posted.

They won't hand pick as they're fully bagged and sealed. I just looked through the bags when picking mine. The finish is nice, as were the floor models that were in display. All of the 22" ones I saw had straight front sights

The 22" says "Socom 18" as well. The markings are exactly the same.

The other odd thing I noticed is that on the site the 22" are listed as coming with two 5rd mags, but all of the ones I saw for sale were boxed with 20 rounders.
 
My guess would be that they mean 5 rounders in that they will only hold 5 rounds. But they are 5/20's

My Full length says "Socom 18" on it as well, nowhere does it say "Made in China", but I suspect you may still have trouble getting it stateside. Mine also came with 2 20 rounders pinned to 5 (inside the magazine with a long plate attached to the follower). Loose op rod guide (peened and fixed), and a crooked (pretty sure) flash hider. Shoots like a hotdamn though, one ragged hole at 30 yards (I am NOT an iron sight shooter) with cheap Norc surplus. All said and done, I'm very happy with my purchase. Plan to replace the flash hider, put a new oprod spring guide in, and install a CASM mount in the near future. Oh, and maybe pick up a factory 5 rounder, seems like it'd be a little less unwieldy for hunting.
 
Cool thanks for the info Lex, good to know, it is a go an order is pending on my side (still waiting to see if i get to sell a certain firearm, then i would get 2x M305s!!!!)
