hello all, i am new to the forum, i am from brantford ontario area, i have read many great threads on here thought i would sign up, had an item to share, i recently purchased a dominion arms outlaw the double barrel 12g norinco from can ammo, love it, have read many articles about it, it seems most of the negative write ups seem to be " well what use is this thing beyond looking cool" for myself and i am sure many other people its all about a whole lotta fun....... plus i have found a real cool use for it well beyond a short 12g double barrel shotgun, i wanted to share this incredible little system i have been using with it, i purchased a set of chamber inserts from x caliber although not cheap $450 and ordered from the usa so plus shipping and duty cost me about $560 to get it to my house but wow what a great time i am having with this combination, the chamber inserts are about 7" long and rifled, there is a 9mm, 22lr, 38 special, 40 s&w, 45 acp, 44 magnum, 357 magnum, 45 colt, 20 guage and 410, so with the outlaw add 12 guage and i can shoot all this fun stuff with one gun that packs up nice and small {perfect to pack in my quad for the great north}, accuracy is not perfect although surprisingly consistant, my 8 year old daughter can shoot a double barrel 12 guage with 9mm in one chamber and 38 special in the other with practically no recoil, it is great fun as well with the larger calibers, and you can also blast away with 12, 20 and 410 slugs as well, it is by far the most versatile set up for all ages to have a great time with.
so for all the naysayers about the dominion arms short barreled guns having no real purpose, i beg to differ!!! hope some people get the opportunity to try this out sometime, and remember as well, everything doesnt have to have a specific purpose beyond fun....i am new and originally posted in the wrong spot, sorry if some read this twice
